Physical Training

Gator 2 emphasizes physical conditioning and general health and wellness. An important aspect of the Corps experience is physical development through a military-style training regimen that allows cadets to truly push themselves to become the best they can be. Incoming freshmen can expect a truly rewarding experience that will allow them to build both physical and mental fortitude while improving strength and conditioning. Exercises include pushups, sit-ups, and flutter kicks. Cadets will also participate in outfit runs twice a week.

To pass the Corps of Cadets Physical Fitness Test you must be able to perform the following:

  • 42 Push-ups within two minutes

  • 50 Sit-ups within two minutes

  • Run 1.5 miles within 12 min 30 sec
