The Legacy of Gator 2

Since 1961, Gator 2 has become a leading outfit in the Corps of Cadets.  The outfit has won the Jouine Award (the award given to the outfit with the highest overall grades in the Corps) on several occasions.  It consistently ranks among the best in the many areas of achievement within the Corps.  Gator 2 places great value on academic excellence as well as character development, physical fitness, and spiritual development.  Steeped in rich tradition that provides a strong connection between all Gators - past, present, and future, the outfit has provided cadets an experience like no other.  Many great leaders of character and civil servants have passed through Gator 2, a common thread of friendship and loyalty uniting them all.  The camaraderie, spirit, and pride can be traced to those “early Gators” who ignited the torch that all Gators are heirs to today.
